Nancy Drapeau, PRC, Principal of Drapeau Research Services 

Ms. Drapeau launched her full-time market research practice in September 2008.  With more than 19 years of experience in the market research field, she has a passion for delivering custom, primary market research services that deliver key market insights and drive profitable business decisions.

Drapeau Research Services has access to a network of world-class vendors to execute projects from small to large.  Project team members are carefully selected to assure the delivery of high quality services, within a client's time and cost parameters.

The company recently completed a national study for Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR), “"The Spend Decision: Analyzing How Exhibits Fit into the Overall Marketing Budget,” www.ceir.org , which is currently one of the organization’s most requested reports.  Ms. Drapeau conducted a nationally broadcast Webinar on the topic for the newly established International Center for Exhibitor and Event Marketing www.iceem.net .   Since the inception of the company in 2008, Drapeau Research has served the needs of trade event organizers, associations, non-profits and other consultants.

Previous to the launch of the company, Ms. Drapeau managed the market research function at Diversified Business Communications. During her tenure at this company, she executed more than one hundred visitor/exhibitor research studies, numerous strategic research initiatives, and dozens of multilingual studies for product groups and senior management.   She has managed market research studies for the company’s US-based, Argentine-based and UK-based events and publications. Prior to joining Diversified, she served as Director of the Consumer Research Division for a Northern New England market research firm, Strategic Marketing Services/Pan Atlantic Services; where she conducted studies for a wide range of clients, in manufacturing, services and government sectors.

Ms. Drapeau holds Professional Research Certification (PRC) with the national Marketing Research Association in quantitative research and is a Nielsen/Burke Institute trained focus group moderator.  She holds a Masters from l’Institut Européen des Hautes Études Internationales in International Studies from Nice, France and a B.A. in Political Science from Georgetown University.
